year old Inn provides 50 comfortable, spacious
guestrooms and suites, each with its own unique
decor just the way it was at the turn of the century only
now each has a private bath and is still phone
and tv free. Amenities include: Our award winning
restaurant, a 2,000-volume library, meeting rooms,
card/puzzle room, sitting parlor, hiking trails,
and gift shop. Be sure to sit and rock on one
of our two 100-foot porches, featuring North
Carolina-made Troutman Rockers.
Balsam Mountain Inn is centrally located in the heart of North Carolina's mountains, between the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, The Biltmore House, Great Smoky Mountain Rail Road, and Ghost Town. It's adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway and near the Mountains to the Sea Trail. Popular mountain towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee are a short drive.
